JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The position is for a teaching role primarily focused on Swedish as a second language, though other subjects may be involved, with a primary focus on students with non-native language backgrounds. Your responsibilities will include leading and teaching a group of newly arrived students.
As a primary school teacher at Centralskolan, you will, together with subject colleagues and your team, be responsible for leading pedagogical work in accordance with curriculum guidelines. You will plan, implement, and evaluate instruction with a focus on creating a stimulating and inclusive learning environment for students.
At Centralskolan, we value collegial learning and collaboration. You will work closely with colleagues to develop instruction and create the best possible learning conditions for students. The work also includes assessment and documentation of students' knowledge development and active participation in school development initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are seeking candidates who:
• Are primarily qualified and licensed teachers in Swedish and Swedish as a second language, with specific competence in newly arrived students' learning
• Are clear leaders in the classroom who plan instruction based on students' prerequisites
• Have good interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and develop relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues
• Understand that good relationships promote the entire teaching situation and create security for yourself and your students
• Are inspired by youth's curiosity and engagement, thereby contributing to active learning for each individual student
• Are flexible toward daily and long-term changes that are part of pedagogical work
