Ref: 20252598 Job Responsibilities We are seeking a new colleague to work with us at Glasbruksskolan, as our music teacher will be on parental leave one day per week! As a primary school music teacher, you will plan your instruction, implement lessons, and assess your students' acquired knowledge. Your lesson planning may occur both individually and in collaboration with your colleagues. Your teaching will be modern and creative, aimed at reaching and developing strategies to strengthen your students, both academically and in their personal development. You will collaborate with other teachers to create a positive learning and working environment for both students and staff. Qualifications The ideal candidate is a licensed teacher qualified to teach Music for grades 3-6. Previous experience teaching music at the intermediate school level is considered meritorious. You are expected to have insight into and knowledge of school governance documents and be able to effectively use them in your daily work. Furthermore, you should have strong didactic skills and be able to lead and organize your work to create a calm study environment and positive learning atmosphere during music lessons. You will naturally maintain a professional approach and work to build good relationships with students, their guardians, and all colleagues at the school. You should have a positive view of students and be inspiring, responsible, attentive, and collaborative. Welcome to apply!
