Primary School Teacher 1-9 / Spanish Grades 6-9 and Physical Education Grades 1-5

Pilträdsskolan is a free school with approximately 290 students that emphasizes knowledge, safety, and the unique value of each student. The school was founded in 1994 and offers education for grades F-9, as well as after-school activities. Adjacent to the school is Pilträdets preschool for children ages 1-5. The governing body is the Källan Foundation in Västerås, and the school is located in Vallby. We are now seeking inspiring teachers who want to shape the future with us and contribute to a meaningful educational experience for our students. We hope that you have a teaching degree and experience working in primary education. A teaching certification is an advantage. We also see that you are familiar with the curriculum, syllabus, guidelines from the National Agency for Education, and the operations of primary schools. You are responsible, independent, take initiative, and possess strong collaborative skills. As a teacher with us, you will collaborate, plan, and evaluate teaching in consultation with colleagues and students. You are skilled and interested in continually enhancing your leadership, engagement, and adaptations in your teaching. We actively work with motivating and value-creating instruction. Your responsibilities will also include mentorship and communication with guardians. You have good digital skills. You have a genuine interest in working on students' development and learning, see opportunities, are flexible, are willing to try new approaches, and are experienced in collaboration.
