About this role
Bjästaskolan is seeking an engaged, secure, and structured F–3 teacher who wants to share mentorship in one of our classes.
With us, you will have the opportunity to work closely with colleagues, influence the school's development, and help create a safe and inspiring start for our youngest students.
Bjästaskolan is a F–9 school with approximately 400 students, allowing us to offer a cohesive school environment with continuity throughout all years of primary education. The school is located near nature in the community of Bjästa, with green areas and forests nearby.
For those new to the profession, Örnsköldsvik Municipality offers an introduction program for new teachers, which includes having a mentor during your first year. Your mentor will be an experienced teacher with the same subject qualifications who can guide and support you.
Responsibilities
You will teach in grade 1 and will have overall responsibility for the student group, including the documentation and contacts that this entails. Communication and collaboration with guardians are important aspects of the role. The assignment involves planning, implementing, and following up on teaching together with a work team.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a teaching degree with qualifications for grades F-3.
We seek individuals who enjoy being challenged and thinking innovatively, who view differences and diversity as a foundation for learning and development. You are a secure adult and a clear leader in the classroom. Being a role model and creating a positive atmosphere in the student group and work team is a given for you.
We would appreciate experience in leading group processes, the ability to create structure, and the capacity to adapt teaching based on the needs of the group and individuals. You are attentive, responsible, engaged, and creative.
