About this role
What You Will Do
We are seeking a qualified teacher for grades 4-6 in our specialized teaching groups at the intermediate level.
The position will be designed based on the qualifications you possess as an applicant. As a teacher at SUND, you need to meet students based on their different conditions and needs. You must be inventive, creative, and flexible. You have high expectations for students and can motivate and support students towards the best possible progression based on their individual goals.
You will collaborate with other colleagues at the school in an unpretentious spirit where we all support, coach, and have fun together. The teaching assignment requires a good ability to analyze children's needs and the ability to use a methodology well-adapted for the student and group. It is important that you adapt your teaching and work in a language-developing way. You are also good at creating positive relationships with our students.
Your Experience
You have a teaching certification with authorization to teach in grades 4-6 and experience working in a specialized teaching group or equivalent.
We place great importance on personal suitability for the work.
What We Offer
Östergårdsskolan and its students and staff moved into new, fine facilities in the autumn semester of 2024. Östergårdsskolan has approximately 650 students in grades 4-9 and associated after-school care. At Östergårdsskolan, we work closely in teams, with great commitment to developing our students towards their goals. For several years, we have worked to challenge structures about how the school is organized and how we can work differently to provide our students with the best possible conditions. We are proud of the work being done while continuing to try to develop ourselves every day.
