Primary School Teacher/Educator for Nature School

Nature School is a support function within preschool and primary education with the mission to support and stimulate learning for sustainable development. We offer seminars, lectures, and courses, often through outdoor didactics. We are now seeking you who want to work with us! Your Duties Your mission will be to educate educators and teachers, often together with students, in working with outdoor didactics and learning for sustainable development. The work also includes lecturing and managing seminars for educators, teachers, and principals in preschool and primary school, both physically and digitally. In accordance with the assignment, governing documents, and research, you will contribute to pedagogically inspiring learning in authentic environments, such as nature and society. The learning is interdisciplinary and should be linked to all sustainability perspectives. The work may involve travel, primarily in northern Sweden. About You We are seeking a qualified primary school teacher/educator with several years of pedagogical work experience. Additional education in sustainable development is meritorious. You have experience with outdoor didactics and IT skills. The position requires excellent Swedish language skills, both spoken and written. A significant portion of the work will be performed outdoors in all seasons, regardless of weather, so you need to be accustomed to outdoor stays and have good knowledge of outdoor life. You are driven and curious about the field and interested in developing and growing. The work group is small, so you must be prepared for significant independent work, be comfortable taking personal responsibility, and provide the "best possible encounter" in all situations. Since the operation depends on external funds, you need to be open to collaboration, learning new things, and being flexible. Heavy lifting occurs in the workplace. B driver's license is required.
