Job Description
As one of our employees will be on parental leave during the spring term of 2026, we are seeking a certified teacher for grades 4-6 with qualifications in English and Swedish/Swedish as a second language. This position is a temporary role for one term, with the possibility of extension during the autumn term of 2026. You will primarily teach Swedish and English and serve as a resource teacher for grades 4-6. The role also includes being a co-mentor for grade 6.
You will be part of a teaching team with high qualifications and extensive expertise. You will support each other to create the best possible conditions for every student in a safe and trusting environment. Qualifications
We are looking for a certified teacher for grades 4-6 with qualifications in English, Swedish, and Swedish as a second language. You have a good understanding of and knowledge about the school’s governing documents and can effectively utilize them in your daily work. Furthermore, you possess strong didactic and pedagogical skills, enabling you to lead and organize your work to create a conducive learning environment for our students throughout their school day.
Based on evidence-based research, you can develop your work and effectively use relevant digital tools with good familiarity and experience. Naturally, you maintain a professional approach and work towards building strong relationships with our students, their guardians, and all your colleagues at the school. We expect you to foster good relationships with students and colleagues, hold high expectations, and have a strong belief in students’ abilities. You stay updated on current research and systematically work to develop your teaching.
Grounded in current research and proven experience, you plan your teaching, demonstrating connections between your teaching strategies and your students' results. Your teaching methods are varied and comprehensive, providing all students with the opportunity to achieve good results. Working with student influence is important to you, and you create a safe and welcoming classroom climate. The role requires good collaboration skills, initiative, a flexible approach, and a positive view of students. You can handle challenges, participate in the school’s development, and possess high social competence.

About the Workplace
Tygelsjö School/Pilbäck School is located in the picturesque Tygelsjö, approximately a 10-minute bus ride from Hyllie station. Tygelsjö is a residential area consisting of an older center surrounded by newly built neighborhoods. In the Tygelsjö principal area, Tygelsjö School serves grades F-3 with about 300 students, and Pilbäck School serves grades 4-9 with approximately 500 students. Both schools have very high teacher qualifications, and our students achieve excellent results. According to students, the school is characterized by a strong sense of safety and well-being, as well as a good community between teachers and students.
