Job Responsibilities
We are currently seeking a teacher for grades 7-9 with qualifications in German at Kroksbäck School.
You will be part of a team of teachers who collaboratively plan and are responsible for the education and development of students. Together, you will also decide on any needs for subject integration or language development initiatives in your classes. Your focus will be on creating the best conditions for each student in a safe and trusting environment. You will teach students in grades 7-9 in the subject of German, where you will educate and support students in their social and academic development. You will challenge students to take their own initiatives, develop their interests, and take responsibility for themselves and others.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate is a certified teacher with qualifications to teach German for grades 7-9. Previous experience working as a teacher, preferably in a multicultural school, is considered an asset. Experience from adapted primary and secondary schools is of interest, as these programs are also available at the school. You have a good command of Swedish, both spoken and written.
You possess a solid understanding of and knowledge about the school's governing documents and can effectively utilize them in your daily work. Furthermore, you have strong didactic and pedagogical skills. You can lead and organize your work to create a conducive learning environment for our students throughout their school day. Based on evidence-based research, you can develop your work and effectively use digital tools with a good level of familiarity. Naturally, you maintain a professional approach and work towards building good relationships with our students, their guardians, and all your colleagues at the school.
To fit as a primary school teacher with us, it is important that you enjoy developing alongside others and wish to learn more about language development methods. It is also essential that you see it as a given that we collectively take responsibility for our students' development. Your primary collaboration will take place within the teachers' mentoring team, where you will communicate about each student's development and school situation.
