Your responsibilities will include teaching visual arts, social studies, and physical education. There is close collaboration with other class teachers regarding planning and instruction, which means you are expected to provide support in the classroom for your colleague and effectively meet the students' needs. Approximately half of the position involves teaching physical education at Bjärnum School for Mala School's students. This means you will work at both schools and will need a car for transportation.
You will use Schoolsoft as a tool for documentation and communication with students and parents.
Who are you?
We are looking for a certified teacher qualified to teach grades 4-6 in visual arts, physical education, and social studies.
To perform well in this role, you need to have knowledge of the subjects taught in primary school. We seek someone with strong relational skills with both students and staff.
As a person, you must be flexible, able to work across multiple classes, and adjust your responsibilities as needed. The role involves supporting students both individually and in groups.
You should be calm and stable in your interactions and responsive in various situations. You contribute to a positive work environment, collaborate easily with other staff members, and enjoy working in teams with other professionals. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
You have access to a car and a valid B driver's license.
You should share the values and approaches described in our employee and leadership policy.

The Department of Children and Education is responsible for the municipality's preschools, primary schools, secondary schools, adapted schools, and cultural schools. The department's mission is to coordinate, plan, and support the various operations and work towards coordination between school and working life.
Mala School is located on the outskirts of the village and is close to nature. The school serves students from preschool to grade 6 and has an after-school program for those who need care outside school hours.
