Job Responsibilities
We at Augustenborgsskolan are now seeking a Primary School Recreation Center Teacher. As a recreation center teacher, you will be responsible for planning, teaching, and assessment in the recreation center, creating a stimulating pedagogical environment based on curriculum and other guiding documents. Furthermore, you will be responsible for promoting student development and learning, and finding strategies to reach each student, strengthening their knowledge development and personal growth.
The assignment includes offering students a meaningful leisure time, promoting comprehensive contacts, social community, and strengthening group relationships. The recreation center will complement school education by providing opportunities for students to explore, test, create, and live the knowledge they have acquired. We can succeed in this mission together through good collaboration in work teams, where we plan, follow up, and evaluate activities. This is to best offer a recreation center that not only provides the right conditions for development and learning but also ensures that students actually receive these benefits.
Qualifications
We are seeking a certified recreation center teacher. Previous professional experience is meritorious. You have a good understanding and knowledge of school guidance documents and apply these in your daily work. Additionally, you possess strong didactic and pedagogical abilities that allow you to independently lead and organize your work to create a calm study environment and good learning atmosphere for our students throughout the day.
Your teaching is modern, and you develop your work based on evidence-based research, working effectively with relevant digital tools with good familiarity and ease.

About the Workplace
Augustenborgsskolan is a preschool to 9th-grade school in southern inner Malmö with approximately 750 students. We are a multicultural school with students and staff from all corners of the world. We have curious students with a great desire to learn. Our school works in teams together with competent and driven colleagues. You will have a school management close to operations that expects you to take responsibility for your own, your colleagues', and the entire school's development work. We work together, and collaboration is a key competency at our school. The school has structures for planning, implementation, and evaluation of teaching. We are working on developing genre pedagogy and value-based work throughout the school. Currently, we are developing our student and teacher-focused student health work. Part of this is increasing special education teacher competence at the school.
