We welcome your application! As a teacher in Landskrona, you are expected to lead and develop teaching and mentorship. This is done in collaboration with other staff, students, guardians, and other stakeholders. In Landskrona, we expect good teachers to become even better, and there are opportunities to participate in development work at various levels. You will teach mathematics and science for grades 4-6 at Sandåkerskolan in Häljarp. You will be responsible for planning and implementing lessons, assessing students' knowledge, and collaborating closely with subject colleagues. The guiding principles of Sandåkerskolan are Excellent Teaching and Supportive Mentorship. Our subjects are well-equipped with both analog teaching materials, and we believe that the combination of digital and analog resources provides a solid framework for excellent teaching. The subject team you will be part of has designated time each week for collegial exchange, co-assessment, and joint planning. Your position will also include mentorship for approximately 14 students, whom you will meet every school day between 8:00-8:30 AM. A portion of your role is dedicated to mentorship, which includes communication with guardians. Together with other mentors, you will form a mentorship team for the grade level. You will meet weekly for mentorship team meetings where you plan and follow up on the content of mentorship time, which, in addition to individual conversations with students, includes systematic teaching based on chapters 1-2 of the curriculum. Together, these methods create a supportive mentorship. At Sandåkerskolan, we prioritize work/life balance, and a good working environment is a key focus. As a teacher, you will receive support in your administrative tasks from our service team and teaching assistants. Our student health services are comprehensive, with all specialists available for collaboration to ensure the best for our students.
