About the workplace
Harlösa School is a F–6 school with approximately 100 students, located in Harlösa. Here, we work together with students and guardians to create the competencies of the future through creativity, collaboration, and knowledge. The school's smaller format provides a familial tone and a safe environment where everyone knows each other. The school offers bright, pleasant classrooms, a modern sports hall, a cafeteria, and after-school care focused on daily outdoor activities, creative endeavors, and activities that stimulate children's development.
Your mission
In the role of primary school teacher in after-school care, you will have the opportunity to influence students' daily lives and learning. Your work will involve:
• Creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment during school hours and after-school time
• Planning and leading educational activities that promote students' social, creative, and motor development
• Working closely with teachers and contributing to learning even during school hours, e.g., in practical-aesthetic subjects or by providing support in the classroom
• Collaborating with colleagues to develop the operations based on governing documents and the needs of the student group
• Maintaining ongoing contact with guardians and building good relationships
• Following up and documenting students' development according to the goals of the operations
Your experience
We expect you to have an interest and competence in promoting children's learning and development. You preferably have:
• A teaching degree with a focus on after-school care or equivalent educational training
• Experience working with children in school or after-school activities
