JOB DESCRIPTION
As a pedagogical assistant at Gröndal School, you will act as a resource and support the students throughout the entire school day and during after-school hours. Together with teachers, recreational educators, preschool teachers, other pedagogical assistants, and student health services, you will adapt the operations based on the students' needs and circumstances. You will also be involved in daily work utilizing clear pedagogical practices, work schedules, low-arousal approaches, and various communication methods such as sign language support and visual aids. As a pedagogical assistant, you will be part of both a class work team and an after-school program team. The role may also involve accompanying students on school transport when necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS
The position requires a high school education, such as the Child and Recreation program, or a degree as a nursing assistant, or another education deemed equivalent. We prefer candidates who have experience working with children, adolescents, or adults with intellectual disabilities and neurodevelopmental disorders. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
