About this role
I am a playful pirate looking for someone to help me bring order to my life. I attend a daily activity program for a few hours from Monday to Friday, where I manage without my assistants. When I am at home, I enjoy relaxing, walking in the forest, playing various instruments, and harvesting berries and vegetables from my allotment, which you are welcome to help me take care of.
The core of the job is to assist me in creating structure, calm, and clarity in my daily life. Your role is to support me with tasks that I would do myself if it weren't for my disability, in the way I prefer. Being my personal assistant is a qualified and responsible job, and you need to have good communication skills. You should possess maturity and the ability to understand my situation and thought process. It is important that you can remain calm in stressful situations. A low-arousal approach is essential.
You see yourself as a calm and positive person with great patience and flexibility. It would be beneficial if you have artistic interests, as I do. I am looking for someone who is playful, imaginative, and able to take initiative. You should enjoy cooking! It is also helpful if you can assist me with some basic physical exercise. Ideally, you are between 30 and 50 years old. I am 35.
Personal chemistry is crucial, and it is important to me that you are a non-smoker.
Experience in personal assistance or similar roles is advantageous but not required, as you will undergo training with experienced assistants to create the best conditions for succeeding in your role as my assistant.
Scope: This is a part-time position around 50%, covering all hours of the day, including weekends, with "sleeping on-call" shifts, maximum 50 hours/month. Sleeping on-call is included in all shifts. You will work long shifts during periods with plenty of time off in between.
Your workplace is wherever I am, usually in my home, but also at other locations.
Start date: Immediately.
