About this role
Join us and become an important part of a team where everyone strives towards the same goal. You will have a workplace where you are seen, appreciated, and your contribution is significant. We are currently seeking a female personal assistant for a cheerful and positive 38-year-old man who uses a wheelchair and lives independently in Lindesberg. Due to his multiple disabilities, he requires support around the clock with various tasks, including personal hygiene, dressing, mobility assistance, feeding via a button on his stomach, and catheter management.
He is a joyful person who loves music, movies, walks, and many other activities that fill his days with happiness. During the daytime, he participates in daily activities, where you will also be involved in providing support. As a personal assistant, you will have a unique opportunity to be an essential part of his life, create a sense of security, and contribute to making each day stimulating and meaningful.
About you: We are looking for someone who spreads energy and positivity in their work. You are independent, take initiative, and have a natural ability to meet and collaborate with people. Previous experience in personal assistance or similar work is advantageous but not a requirement – the most important thing is that you enjoy each other’s company.
We value that you are attentive, caring, and enjoy making daily life both safe and enjoyable for the person you assist. With us, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference and be a valued part of someone's life.
We envision you as:
• Non-smoking.
• Flexible with working hours.
• Independent and proactive.
• Proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.
Scope & Work Arrangement:
• Start Date: To be agreed upon.
• Employment Level: 85% with a fixed schedule.
• Contract: Introduction shifts and approximately a month of hourly employment before regular employment level is assigned, provided that everything goes well. This gives you a chance to feel secure and well-prepared for your new role.
• Shifts: Days, evenings, awake nights, and occasional weekends. Full-day shifts may become relevant in the future.
What do we offer you? Working as a personal assistant is more than just a job – it is a way to facilitate someone else's daily life while feeling that you contribute something important. We appreciate your skills and dedication, and we see each individual as a valuable part of our team. With us, you will receive:
