We are seeking female personal assistants for a 68-year-old woman living in Solna, who requires assistance around the clock, including awake nights. She is a humorous person who appreciates assistants with a warm personality and a twinkle in their eye. Your commitment and presence mean more than you might realize!
About the position:
Due to breathing difficulties, it can sometimes be strenuous for her to speak, which requires you to be observant, empathetic, and independent. The work entails medical care, including the management of oxygen and a ventilator. You need to have a good understanding of breathing and be able to act swiftly in response to changes in her condition. As her energy and physical capability vary, you will need to adjust according to her daily condition and have the ability to read the situation. You must be observant, empathetic, and able to act quickly in emergency situations. A good understanding of Swedish, both spoken and written, is essential for utilizing documentation as support.
We are looking for someone who:
• Has experience in medical care and the use of oxygen and a ventilator, or relevant education.
• Speaks Finnish, which is an advantage for better communication and cultural understanding.
• Is attentive and flexible, able to adapt to her daily condition.
• Can work independently and interpret body language in strained communication.
• Is meticulous with hygiene routines, including wearing masks and gloves.
• Is confident in handling changes in her condition.
• Has an eye for nutritious food and is skilled in cooking.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Personal hygiene and care – Ensures care needs are met in a respectful and professional manner.
• Cooking and assistance during meals – Prepares nutritious meals and helps during meals to ensure hydration and nutrient intake.
• Toilet visits and showers – Assists with toilet visits, personal hygiene, showers, and changing clothes while respecting privacy.
• Support in daily life – Aids in transfers, doctor visits, and other errands.
Scope and Work Structure:
• Start date: By agreement.
• Employment rate: Hourly employment with the possibility of fixed shifts upon good collaboration. Introductory shifts are offered to ensure the role is a good fit.
• Work shifts: Day and evening shifts, with the possibility to work awake nights and weekends as needed.

Recruitment Process & Employment Conditions:
Recruitment Process
We contact candidates relevant for a first interview continuously. The position will be filled when we find the right person, which may occur before the application deadline. Your application will be processed by staff at ENKV Assistance, along with the client and any family members, legal guardians, or other parties involved. If the position involves working with a minor client, a background check will be required.
Child Perspective in Recruitment
At ENKV, we closely follow the Convention on the Rights of the Child, meaning that if you are applying for a position involving work with minors, the recruitment process will include specific steps to ensure that the child's wishes and needs are taken into account. Employment where you work with a minor client will also include training on the child perspective.
Employment Conditions
If you progress in the recruitment process, you will need to verify your identity and prove that you have the right to work in Sweden. To sign your employment contract and time reports, you will need a BankID.
To ensure we maintain high-quality assistance, new hires will undergo a web-based introductory training (approximately 1 hour), preferably before the start of employment but no later than within a month from the start date. Read more about the training here.
