The Pharmaceutical Center in Södermanland has a coordinating responsibility for pharmaceutical issues within Region Södermanland. We are now seeking a pharmacist or pharmacy technician with a strong interest in compounding issues, who wants to work with us and become part of our team. Our current pharmaceutical supply team consists of three pharmacists, two pharmacy technicians, and one nurse. In the spring of 2026, we will take over the pharmaceutical supply in-house, where the compounding operations will be one of the components. Your Responsibilities The Pharmaceutical Center is looking for a GMP-responsible pharmacist in preparation for the takeover of the pharmaceutical supply in-house, which will take place on May 1, 2026. We are seeking a development- and quality-oriented pharmacist who, together with the pharmacists at the Pharmaceutical Center, can prepare for the takeover of the compounding units. The units compound both cytostatics and other sterile extemporaneous preparations. The compounding operations also have on-call duties from home. You will participate in the establishment of the compounding operations in-house. As the GMP-responsible pharmacist, you will be responsible for compounding regulations, procedures, other quality documents, and validations. The region has a brand new sterile room that will be put into operation in the spring of 2026. The new facility presents great opportunities to develop and expand the sterile compounding operations based on the needs of healthcare. You will be involved in the region's new processes and routines for compounding. You will collaborate closely with the unit manager and other colleagues at the Pharmaceutical Center, as well as with nurses and doctors in healthcare. There are also excellent opportunities for collaboration and experience exchange with GMP-responsible pharmacists and compounding units in other regions. The Pharmaceutical Center has a broad area of responsibility, and other tasks may also arise based on interest, qualifications, and needs. As the GMP-responsible pharmacist with us, you will, among other things: • Have quality responsibility for the compounding process • Work with the compounding of cytostatics and other sterile extemporaneous preparations • Follow up on deviations, train staff, and be responsible for validations. Your Qualifications You have a genuine interest in compounding issues and an understanding of how healthcare operates. Your work is characterized by precision, and you place great importance on meeting quality standards. You are service-oriented and have a broad perspective on issues, enjoy analyzing and solving problems, and want to work on continuous improvements. Collaboration with others is very important. You should be able to express yourself easily in both speech and writing. You feel comfortable delivering presentations in small or larger groups. You should have good computer skills and be proficient in the Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. Job Requirements: • Licensed pharmacist or licensed pharmacy technician • Formal compounding competence • Experience in pharmaceutical compounding in a hospital pharmacy or equivalent • Experience in quality work • B driver's license or the ability to reach the hospital outside of regular working hours.
