About this role
In the city of Mölndal, we are proud to have Sweden's most important jobs where we together create the best possible everyday life for our citizens. With knowledge, courage, and creativity, we develop our operations and contribute to making Mölndal an even better place to live and work. Welcome to make a difference in people's daily lives every day!
Glasbergsskolan is a school with approximately 300 students from preschool class to grade 6. We are now seeking an engaged and creative teacher in Swedish, mathematics, English, and physical education for the intermediate level.
Under our motto "The Whole Child - The Whole Day", we focus on the child and learning.
There are three work teams working with students in preschool-grade 3, grades 4-6, and in the after-school program. The school is modern with exciting architecture where large glass sections dominate the building, resulting in bright and beautiful premises. We offer you a meaningful job at a workplace that focuses on creative learning environments, play, active work with core values, and a language and knowledge-developing approach. The proximity to the school forest and Gunnebo Castle makes it advantageous to conduct activities outdoors during the school day.
In Mölndal City's school administration, we work every day to create the best conditions for children and students' development and lifelong learning. With approximately 2,000 committed employees and 12,000 children and students in our operations, we are Mölndal's largest administration - and a hub for future education. Here, you will become part of a curious, brave, and solution-focused organization where innovation is encouraged, and the child's best interest always comes first.
