Strömstad Municipality is a small and close-knit organization where everyone is important and works together to deliver the best possible service. Rossö School is a smaller primary school with approximately 70 students and 8 staff members. We have an after-school program with around 40 enrolled students, and a preschool is located adjacent to the school. The school is situated on Rossö, about 15 km south of Strömstad city center, with proximity to forest and sea. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are now seeking an engaged F-3 teacher who wants to work at a small school with close relationships, great commitment, and room for participation. Starting January, we are looking for someone to take responsibility for teaching our F-1 class. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on instruction based on the pedagogical planning you develop with support from the curriculum. Other typical teaching tasks include documentation, assessment, and parent communication. We use Vklass as our digital learning platform for communication and documentation. Since Rossö School is a small unit, it is important that you enjoy collaborating and being flexible. We help and support each other where needed - always with students' best interests in focus. We work based on the Children and Education Administration's priority goals, which involve accessible learning environments, equal opportunities for students, collegial learning, and a sustainable organization. Competence development focuses on accessible learning environments and effective instruction to create teaching that meets all students' different needs. QUALIFICATIONS We are seeking a licensed and qualified primary school teacher. Digital competence is a requirement for managing information and documentation and is also a natural part of instruction. As a person, you are calm and stable, with the ability to create a safe environment for all students and meet their needs. It comes naturally to you to be a good leader in the classroom, and you work from an accessible learning environment for all students. Additionally, you have a good ability to create professional relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You have a positive approach where the student is always the focus. We are looking for someone who can communicate well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
