**JOB DESCRIPTION**
As a summer substitute in home care, you will play an important role in the daily lives of elderly individuals in Torsås Municipality. You will work closely with those you support, helping them to live a safe and independent life with influence over their daily routines.
Your tasks will vary and may include personal care, such as dressing, hygiene, and meals, practical assistance with cleaning, laundry, and grocery shopping, as well as social activities and community engagement.
We are working to reduce travel time and the municipality's fossil emissions. When visiting individuals living close to the staff office, within approximately 5 km, you will cycle or walk using a regular bike or e-bike. We see daily exercise as a health factor.
As a summer substitute, you will have a significant role where you tailor your efforts to meet the individual needs of each person you assist. After the summer, there are good opportunities to continue as a substitute worker.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
We do not require any previous experience, but to thrive in this role, you need to have a genuine interest in people and a desire to make a difference. You will receive thorough training before you start. For us, your attitude and commitment are the most important.
You have a genuine interest in people and perform your work in a respectful and professional manner. You collaborate well with colleagues and build good relationships with the individuals you support.
It is advantageous if you have ongoing or completed education in care and nursing programs, nursing programs, or other relevant care training. Experience in care work, pedagogy, or behavioral sciences is also beneficial. If you have previously worked with us and have good references, we view that positively.
For all summer substitute positions, you need to:
• Be at least 18 years old
• Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
A B driver's license is required for certain positions. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
