Your workplace
The Rehabilitation Specialist Care at the Central Hospital in Karlstad is a unit within the health and rehabilitation sector. Approximately 80 employees work in occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and music and art therapy within the Rehabilitation Specialist Care. The unit also employs rehabilitation assistants.
The Rehabilitation Specialist Care works with rehabilitation across several clinics at the Central Hospital, including neurology, geriatrics, infectious diseases, pediatrics, obstetrics, surgery, internal medicine, orthopedics, and intensive care, among others, in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
Your responsibilities
We are now seeking summer substitutes for the summer of 2026 in the inpatient care within Rehabilitation Specialist Care at CSK.
The work involves physiotherapeutic assessments, planning and implementation of interventions, as well as follow-up within inpatient care. The role is characterized by mobility and requires flexibility, as well as a willingness and ability to work both in teams and independently. We believe that healthcare must be based on our patients' needs and our employees' competencies. We want to advance healthcare together with our staff.
As a summer substitute, you will receive an introduction to your position. A summer position with us is a great start to your career as a physiotherapist or an opportunity to further develop in your profession.
Your qualifications and competencies
We are looking for a licensed physiotherapist with an interest in rehabilitation within inpatient care. Experience in specialized inpatient care is an advantage. We place great emphasis on personal suitability, good collaboration skills, and your ability to adapt to changing circumstances. An interest in working within specialized inpatient care is essential.
