About the position The Health Professions Unit plays a crucial role in the care provided at Karolinska University Hospital. We are now seeking two additional physiotherapists for the Outpatient Clinic for Post-Infectious Diseases. Here, you will meet engaged and knowledgeable colleagues and have the opportunity to work in a stimulating work environment. At the clinic, we receive patients referred from primary care for the assessment of post-infectious conditions. The operations focus on investigation, diagnosis, and treatment based on the individual needs of the patient. The role includes assessing and treating the patient's remaining symptoms from a physiotherapeutic perspective. You will encounter patients with post-COVID conditions, where common symptoms include fatigue, respiratory issues, cognitive impairment, as well as POTS and ME/CFS. You will collaborate closely with other physiotherapists and also with other professionals such as doctors, psychologists, social workers, nurses, and occupational therapists. Supervision of Swedish and international students is a natural part of your role. Your responsibilities also include contributing to the development of care programs and workflows based on evidence and patient needs, where the physiotherapist plays an important role in assessment and treatment. Qualifications Requirements: - Licensed physiotherapist authorized to practice within the Swedish healthcare system Meritorious: - Experience working within multidisciplinary teams addressing mental and physical fatigue, brain fatigue/fatigue, cardiovascular and respiratory issues, and working with individually tailored physical activity and training - Master's degree and/or specialist competence in physiotherapy.
