About this role

If you want a varied and stimulating job at our clinic, which is part of the transformation to Near Healthcare in Västmanland, this is the job for you. Welcome to a workplace on the brink of an exciting development period! About the Workplace Eastern Primary Care has operations in both Sala and Västerås. The clinic provides primary care by meeting residents' needs for basic internal medicine specialist care, specialized palliative care, advanced home healthcare via AH teams, and qualified rehabilitation services, as well as mobile primary care teams in collaboration with municipal home healthcare. In Sala, there is a primary care ward - Ward 1, an AH team, a primary care team, medical reception, and a rehabilitation unit. In Västerås, the clinic is tasked with operating a primary care ward (NÄVA). There is a specialized palliative ward, a palliative advisory team, an AH team, and a primary care team. At the Rehabilitation Unit, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, counselors, speech therapists, and rehabilitation assistants work. We provide rehabilitation resources to all our units in Sala, but also have a physiotherapy-counseling-speech therapy reception and team-based outpatient care. We work from a person-centered approach. We offer you: • The opportunity to create good care for our patients together with colleagues. • A workplace with a good work environment, with opportunities for participation, influence, and skills development. • Participation in the work towards a more digitalized operation. We are happy to try new digital work tools. More about your benefits can be found here: https://regionvastmanland.se/jobba-med-oss/dina-formaner/ Work Tasks You will primarily work on our ward, but work in outpatient care may also occur depending on needs and wishes. Regardless of where you work, you will be part of various teams around patients and meet patients across different functional areas. You will also be given the opportunity to be involved in this development. The work includes physiotherapeutic tasks such as assessment, treatment, individual or group training, discharge planning, and prescription of aids. We also collaborate with the municipal rehabilitation team, with whom we are now co-located in our new facilities. Qualifications We are looking for a licensed physiotherapist, preferably with several years of experience in healthcare. If you have worked with or are interested in patients with various rehabilitation needs, medically complex patients, and palliative care, this position is for you. We prefer candidates with experience in orthopedic rehabilitation but also knowledge in internal medicine, such as COPD-heart rehabilitation, stroke, and cancer/palliative care. We also value interest or experience in business development and digitalization. Furthermore, we seek strong Swedish language skills, both spoken and written. You should be a confident and stable person. We seek someone who takes responsibility for tasks by structuring and driving work forward. You are flexible and can quickly adapt your approach to new circumstances when required. You communicate clearly while being attentive to patients' different needs. Since you will work in teams, we value strong collaboration skills, where you relate to others in a sensitive and smooth manner. Employment Conditions Temporary employment, 6 months with possibility of extension. Full-time, daytime. Commencement after agreement. Application Welcome with your application no later than December 4, 2025. • When applying, please attach only your CV and preferably relevant grades/certificates. • You will also be asked to answer several questions as part of our selection assessment. • We do not use cover letters in our recruitment process.
