Work Tasks
You will work on our care ward in Västerås. Work is done in teams with the patient in focus. Tasks include assessment, treatment, training, discharge planning, and prescription and testing of assistive devices.
You will also be given the opportunity to participate in development work.
About the Workplace
Eastern Primary Care has operations in both Sala and Västerås. The clinic provides primary care by meeting residents' needs for basic internal medical specialist care, specialized palliative care, advanced home healthcare via AH teams, qualified rehabilitation services, and mobile primary care teams in collaboration with municipal home healthcare.
In Västerås, the clinic's assignments include operating a primary care ward (NÄVA), a specialized palliative ward, a palliative advisory team, an AH team, and a primary care team. The Rehabilitation Unit includes physiotherapists, occupational therapists, counselors, speech therapists, and rehabilitation assistants.
In Sala, the clinic's assignments include a primary care ward, an AH team, a primary care team, medical reception, and a rehabilitation unit.

Qualifications
We are seeking a licensed physiotherapist, preferably with a few years of experience. If you have worked with or are interested in patients with various rehabilitation needs, multi-morbid patients, and/or palliative care, this position is for you. We value interest or experience in operational development and digitalization.
We also require excellent Swedish language skills, both spoken and written.
The ideal candidate is a confident and stable person. You take responsibility for your tasks by structuring and driving your work. You are flexible and can quickly adapt your approach to new circumstances when the situation demands it.
You are skilled at communication with patients, relatives, team colleagues, and external actors.
As you will work in a team, we seek someone with good collaboration skills who relates to others in a sensitive and smooth manner.
Employment Terms
6-month temporary position with extension possibility. Full-time, daytime. Start date by agreement.
