Your Responsibilities
We are now seeking a physiotherapist to the Surgical Department. Your main responsibilities will include caring for patients with common surgical conditions such as abdominal surgeries, trauma, pancreatitis, and concussion. The work involves instructing exercise programs, transfer techniques, assessing the need for assistive devices, prescribing assistive devices, respiratory therapy, etc. In some cases, home visits and collaboration with municipal physiotherapists will occur. As a physiotherapist in the surgical department, you will play a central and important role in the team surrounding the patients. You will closely collaborate with occupational therapists and other professionals in the department.
Your Qualifications
Licensed physiotherapist with experience working in inpatient care. It is an advantage if you have skills and experience as a physiotherapist in a surgical department. You feel confident in yourself and your professional role and have the ability to assess and treat patients independently, while viewing collaboration as essential to providing the best possible care for the patient. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. A valid driver's license (B) is required.
