The Health and Medical Care Unit operates our municipal services in the area of LSS as well as our elderly care facility in Ljusterö, Görjansängen.
Your new job
You will be part of a team consisting of nurses, care staff, and occupational therapists. Your work will focus on providing good and safe care that strengthens and utilizes the customer's own resources. You will promote care that is characterized by both a health and medical perspective as well as good nursing. The role of a physiotherapist within Österåker Municipality means taking independent responsibility for health and medical interventions within Görjansängen, a special accommodation for the elderly, as well as LSS.
Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for individual assessments and care planning, training staff in patient transfers, rehabilitation, and habilitation of our patients. Your work will include assessing, planning, executing, evaluating, and documenting health and medical interventions based on each individual patient's conditions and needs. Your role involves maintaining continuous dialogue with relatives and providing information regarding changes in health status. As a physiotherapist, you will collaborate with colleagues, doctors, and potentially other internal and external contacts to ensure good care. The work demands high levels of coordination, independence, and strong collaborative skills.
You are responsible for ensuring that patients receive the best possible care and support.
Your profile
We are looking for a licensed physiotherapist. You should be confident in your role as a physiotherapist and have a good ability to guide care staff. You can express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish.
As a person, you are cooperative, solution-oriented, and unpretentious. You find it easy to empathize with others, listen, understand, and show consideration.
Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
A valid driver's license (category B) is required.
