About this role

About Us We are looking for a new team member to join us at Karlshamns Rehabilitation Center. Here, you will work alongside other physiotherapists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, counseling teams, and other professionals at the health center. We are a cheerful group of varying ages. Karlshamns Rehabilitation Center is located in a quiet green area in Asarum, featuring a pleasant outdoor patio and proximity to walking paths. We offer you a stimulating and meaningful job with many personal interactions and significant responsibility. With us, you will enjoy favorable vacation terms, wellness allowances, flexible working hours, and free access to the Region’s gym. Region Blekinge is an excellent choice for those who value life in all its aspects. We provide you with exceptional conditions to deliver quality care and improve people's health. You will also have the opportunity to choose a pleasant environment for work, living, and leisure, all characterized by quality of life. Primary care includes Region Blekinge’s health centers, youth clinics, and wound centers. Residents of Blekinge who become ill can go directly to the health centers for access to health care services that do not require hospital resources. Care is provided in all cities of the county, in several smaller locations, and sometimes in patients’ homes. Our goal is to be a modern outpatient service where teamwork and patient needs are at the center. About the Job Your main responsibilities will include independent patient work with a variety of individual assessments and treatments, as well as group activities, such as osteoarthritis school. We are the first point of contact for assessments of joint and muscle-related issues. Common areas of work include postoperative conditions in orthopedics, osteoarthritis, musculoskeletal pain, mental health, and neurology. You will have the opportunity to meet your patients physically or digitally as needed. We have a close partnership with Samaritens Health Center and Brunnsgården Health Center. We also collaborate with other stakeholders within Region Blekinge. About You You should be an educated and licensed physiotherapist or physical therapist. We welcome newly graduated colleagues who wish to work in primary care, and we offer mentorship for those who are new. The role requires you to be able to work independently, possess good collaborative skills, be flexible, and be eager to contribute to the development of the services. We place great emphasis on your personal suitability for the tasks. Region Blekinge places all permanent staff in a position of security. Some of our roles are security classified, meaning that the employee must undergo a security screening interview and background check in accordance with the Security Protection Act (2018:585). We look forward to receiving your application!
