About this role

About us Due to two employees going on parental leave, we are now seeking two substitutes for our team at the Karlshamn Rehabilitation Center. Here, you will work alongside other physiotherapists, occupational therapists, conversation teams, and other professionals at the healthcare center. We are a cheerful group of various ages. The Karlshamn Rehabilitation Center is located in a quiet green area in Asarum, with a pleasant outdoor area and proximity to walking paths. We offer you a stimulating and meaningful job with many personal encounters and significant responsibility. With us, you have favorable vacation conditions, wellness grants, and the possibility of flexible working hours, as well as free access to the Region's gym. Region Blekinge is a great choice for you who value life and everything it entails. We provide excellent conditions for delivering good care and improving people's health. We also give you the opportunity to choose a pleasant environment for work, living, and leisure that is characterized by quality of life. Primary care includes Region Blekinge's healthcare centers, youth clinics, and wound centers. Residents of Blekinge who become ill turn directly to the healthcare centers to access health and medical care that does not require hospital resources. Care is provided in all the county's cities, in several smaller towns, and sometimes at home. Our goal is to be a modern outpatient care facility where teamwork and patient needs are at the center. About the job Your main responsibilities will include independent patient work involving a variety of individual assessments and treatments, as well as group activities, such as osteoarthritis schools. We are the first point of contact for assessments of joint and muscle-related issues. Common areas of work include postoperative conditions within orthopedics, osteoarthritis, musculoskeletal pain conditions, mental health, and neurology. You will have the opportunity to meet your patients either physically or digitally based on their needs. We have a close collaboration with Samaritens Healthcare Center and Brunnsgården Healthcare Center. We also collaborate with other entities within Region Blekinge. About you You should be a trained and licensed physiotherapist. We welcome newly graduated colleagues who wish to work in primary care, and we provide mentorship for those who are new. The job requires that you can work independently, have good collaborative skills, be flexible, and want to be part of developing the organization. We place great importance on your personal suitability for the tasks. Some of our positions are security classified, where the employee must undergo a security clearance interview and background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585). We look forward to receiving your application! About Region Blekinge In Region Blekinge, we have 5,000 employees responsible for health and medical care, dental care, public health, regional growth, infrastructure, public transport, culture, and education.
