About this role
At Region Gotland, you can develop and grow, both as an individual and together with others. When you work with us, you contribute to making Gotland an even better place for people in all stages of life. We make each other better.
Primary Care Physiotherapy Clinic
Region Gotland offers physiotherapy clinics in three locations: Hemse, Slite, and Visby.
Our clinics are part of primary care, where we collaborate closely with both public and private healthcare centers.
Our working method is not driven by patient compensation, but by grant funding. This means we can focus on quality, medical assessment, and the right intervention at the right time – both for the patient and for you as an employee.
Our team includes 18 committed physiotherapists with specialized expertise in several primary care-relevant areas. These include women's health, orthopedic manual therapy (OMT), McKenzie method (MDT), and sports medicine. Your opportunities for guidance and support in primary care work are therefore excellent.
Your Responsibilities
With us, you'll work in an environment that stimulates your professional development. We offer:
• A structured introduction and mentorship program.
• Opportunities for further education and skills development in collaboration with Stockholm County Council's educational network Academic Primary Care Center (APC).
• Collegiate networks.
• Opportunities to specialize in specific areas and take an active role in service development.
In short: Here you can grow, contribute, and shape the future of primary care rehabilitation. Welcome to develop with us!
As a physiotherapist with us, you'll work closely with patients and contribute to first-line care. Your work includes:
• Medical assessments and treatments for both in-person and digital consultations.
• Triage – initial patient assessments for those without referrals.
• Leading exercise groups, supporting our collaboration partners, and actively participating in development work.
You'll have significant freedom to influence your own schedule and structure your workday based on patient needs and your clinical planning.
Who Are You?
We're seeking a licensed physiotherapist who wants to develop in a broad and stimulating primary care role.
Additional qualifications include further education relevant to primary care work, such as Mental Health, MDT, OMT, or other musculoskeletal assessment and treatment methods.
We believe you have a strong clinical sense, curiosity to learn, and a desire to work both independently and as part of a competent team.
A background check through the criminal record register will be conducted before employment decisions.
