Job Description
As a physiotherapist in inpatient care, you will work on assessment and rehabilitation of patients in the ward. Common tasks include assessing functional ability, breathing/circulation, and medical device prescription. You will also participate in team rounds and contribute to documentation for safe discharge assessments. Your work is part of a multi-professional team where a patient-centered and rehabilitation-focused approach is central. Teamwork is crucial for gaining a comprehensive understanding of the patient's situation and implementing individually adapted interventions with active patient participation.
Work Group
The Rehabilitation Group is part of Movement and Health, which is included in Central Primary Care (NSC) at the University Hospital in Linköping. Our unit consists of 30 employees, including eleven physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and counselors. The position is located at the Geriatric Acute Care Clinic (GAVA), which is under the Primary Care Clinic. GAVA is a ward filled with both joy and seriousness. Here, you'll meet patients who need your knowledge, warmth, and professionalism – and colleagues who support and back each other up. The Rehabilitation Group is also present at the Neurological Clinic, Emergency Department, Acute Internal Medicine Clinic (AIM), and LAH.

About You
Licensed Physiotherapist. We prefer candidates with professional experience in geriatric rehabilitation and/or inpatient rehabilitation.
