JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Within the Property Formation area, Property Formation Support has a Function for Work Methods. The function's overall mission is to provide support to property formation operations and area management by developing and maintaining various forms of work method support. This includes, for example, coordinating the training organization and continuous improvements, as well as working with information support, systematic quality management, and development in various assignments.
The function currently has eleven employees organized into three teams and located at various offices. The Work Methods Function is a virtual function, and daily work is primarily conducted in a digital environment. This means that meetings and workplace gatherings are conducted via video.
As Function Manager, you have operational and personnel responsibility for the function and its employees. You are responsible for the function developing and maintaining information and method support, training, and other tools for appropriate and efficient work methods within property formation operations, in close cooperation with the operational activities. To succeed in this, we consider it essential that you can contribute to creating good relationships and dialogue platforms for internal and external collaboration. As a participant in the unit's management group, you actively contribute to offering adequate support to the operations and developing property formation in Sweden.
The work location is flexible within Stockholm, Uppsala, and other offices near the Gävle region, with a need for regular presence at the Gävle office. Travel is required for the job. A probationary employment may be applicable for this position.
The position is security classified, which means you must be a Swedish citizen, and a security assessment including register check and security interview will be conducted before employment.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are seeking someone with at least three years of current management and leadership experience with both personnel and operational responsibility. You have a university or college education relevant to the position, or experiences we deem equivalent. Furthermore, you have several years of experience working with business development in projects or assignments within public operations and at least one year of development work in a leadership role. You should also have several years of experience working as a property surveyor in property formation operations.
We place great importance on personal qualities and are seeking someone who can listen and meet the operational needs and actively work to promote good cooperation. You have a good overall perspective and contribute to decisions aligned with the strategic direction of the operations.
Additionally, you have good self-awareness and are confident in your leadership role and in yourself. You are clear in your communication and have the ability to adapt your leadership to the current situation. We also seek someone who is open, dares to think innovatively, and is interested in developing and adapting the operations based on current and future conditions. To succeed in the position, you need to have a clear results focus and be persistent, while also having the ability to create engagement by involving others. As a leader, you must create conditions for employees to contribute and develop, provide support through coaching, and actively work with follow-up.
