Full-Stack Web Developer

The Koenigsegg software and electronics department is responsible for designing and developing software and electronics for the in-vehicle infotainment system, electronic control units (ECU), and connected services. We work very closely with other engineering departments, production, and service/aftersales. We are now looking to expand the infotainment, cloud, and mobile app team by adding an experienced senior full-stack web developer. The focus of this position will be to maintain and further develop a web application along with its underlying backend services for our fleet of connected vehicles. **Responsibilities** - Development and maintenance of the web application and its underlying infrastructure - Unit testing and regression testing - Formulating and prototyping new concepts - Supporting our production and service departments **Requirements** - Experience in front-end web development using TypeScript, ReactJS, HTML, CSS, and state management systems such as Zustand and the React context API - Experience with back-end technologies such as NodeJS and NginX - Experience in relational databases such as PostgreSQL - Experience in developing security-critical software - High standards for code quality, usability, maintainability, and performance - Fluency in English - Ability to work in a dynamic, ever-changing environment - Good understanding of UI/UX design and ability to translate visual concepts into functional interfaces - Resourceful, self-driven, and proactive: capable of taking ownership, identifying issues, and following through independently **Good to have** - Experience in cloud infrastructure - Experience with message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ - Experience in React Native - Automotive experience is a plus but not essential - University degree in Computer Science or other relevant education is desirable but not essential - Experience with relevant standards and regulations such as GDPR - Experience with agile software development processes Koenigsegg is best known for building some of the fastest cars in the world; with almost all of our megacar technologies patented and made in-house by our nearly 500 world-class technicians, engineers, sourcing experts, production craftsmen, and communicators.
