About this role
Are you personal, professional, playful, and passionate? Do you burn with passion to create the world's best experience for our guests and colleagues?
Perfect! Then you're exactly who we're looking for. We live our core values every day, in every action, in every encounter, and that's what makes us who we are together – ESS.
About the Role
As Front of House Manager with us, you'll become a key person in daily operations. You'll lead, coach, and inspire your team to always deliver world-class guest experiences. The role requires a combination of structure, presence, and creativity – you'll be both the planner behind the scenes and the warm host on-site.
The role is largely operations-focused, which means you'll work scheduled shifts in both reception and M&E operations. You're expected to be well-informed about booking status in the near term and 3 months ahead, and make staffing adjustments to ensure both guest and employee experiences, as well as the key efficiency metrics budgeted. You'll be responsible for a team of approximately 12 people, guiding, coaching, and holding regular 1-2-1s to track their development and shared goals.
Who Are You?
We're seeking a confident and engaged leader with a passion for service and quality. You thrive in a dynamic environment where you can combine operational work with strategic thinking. You're a natural relationship builder, unpretentious in communication, and always keep the guest experience in focus.
Additionally, it's a significant plus if you have previous experience in:
• Team leadership or team responsibility in hotels, meeting facilities, or similar service industries
• Operational planning and scheduling
• Developing routines, workflows, and quality (SOPs)
• High-level guest interaction and ability to create "wow" experiences
• Cross-departmental collaboration to create seamless holistic experiences
• Coaching and developing employees through present and inspiring leadership
