Read More About the Probation Office in Örebro on Our Website: [website link] JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a Probation Inspector, you are responsible for conditionally released clients and clients sentenced to supervised probation. Probation Services also handle intensive electronic monitoring (ankle bracelet) and community service. Probation work primarily involves investigative work, conducting risk and needs assessments, and developing implementation plans. You will also lead treatment programs for probation clients. As a Probation Inspector, you actively participate in client intervention work, including structured cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) conversations, motivating program participation, and assisting with release preparations for institutionalized clients. Responsibilities also include conducting personal assessments, providing statements to courts, and recommending appropriate sentencing.
