Fågelås School is located in Gate, approximately 16 km outside of central Hjo. We are a smaller rural school with about 70 students, where safety, participation, and a peaceful work environment are prioritized. The after-school program Smultronstället is an important part of the school’s holistic approach to students’ development and learning.

**Job responsibilities**
We are looking for a motivated and dedicated leisure pedagogue who wishes to work in a small setting. You will play a central role in the after-school activities and be the one who leads and develops the work in the after-school program. During school hours, you will work as a support person in the classroom and be responsible for leading break activities that promote movement, community, and safety.
This position is suitable for you who want to take responsibility, work independently, and contribute to good collaboration within the work team.
**Qualifications**
We are looking for someone who:
- Is an educated leisure pedagogue or has other educational qualifications deemed equivalent; preferably you are qualified to teach physical education and music, or have experience in leading physical activities
- Has a strong ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Is proactive, responsible, and flexible
- Maintains a pedagogical and positive approach to students and colleagues
- Enjoys leading activities both indoors and outdoors
- Has excellent skills in Swedish, both spoken and written
- To work with children in municipal activities, you will need to present a criminal record extract as per the regulations in Chapter 2, Sections 31-33 of the Education Act.
- To be employed as a qualified leisure pedagogue, you must submit certification and transcripts as per Chapter 2, Sections 13-19 of the Law (2011:189).
Please note that you need to have a driver’s license and access to a car to commute to and from the school due to its geographical location.
