CULTURE AND ASSOCIATION ADMINISTRATION
The Culture and Association Administration is a new administration directly under the Culture and Association Committee. The administration is responsible for library, public culture, art gallery, swimming facility, music school, citizen's office, sports and leisure activities, and tourism. Our goal is to offer all municipal residents a rich and varied culture and leisure offering, based on the needs and wishes of our citizens.
WORK TASKS
The work as a youth leader within Youth in Staffanstorp is conducted in accordance with the operational mandate for open youth activities in Staffanstorp. Your role includes contact and collaboration with schools, associations, other municipal activities, and relevant external actors to offer a broad activity for as many as possible within the target group.
The daily work primarily involves meeting the target group, all young people aged 10-17. Your task is to conduct the work together with the youth, striving for high participation and influence. You will do this by:
• Working to safeguard young people's interests and motivations
• Building relationships
• Supporting youth's own organization through coaching and advice
• Collaborating with other parts of the municipality and civil society
You understand the importance of cooperation with your colleagues, maintaining routines and rules, and providing a friendly and respectful approach to everyone you encounter in your work.
The work is located in various places in the municipality such as schools, sports halls, and meeting places.
Evening and weekend shifts are part of the work.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who:
• Has post-secondary education relevant to the position; e.g., youth leader training, social pedagogue, social worker
• Has previous experience in similar work
• Is creative, innovative, driven, and can work independently and in a team
• Dares to try new working methods and approaches
