Your role
The park play areas in Stockholm City welcome visitors aged 0-100 years. Children aged 6–12 years are the primary target group for the park play areas, and the leisure leaders offer developing educational and cultural activities to attract children to meaningful leisure time.
You have confidence in the abilities of children and young people and create space for their ideas, engagement, and participation in the activities. Collaboration with, among others, parent advisors and schools in the local area is part of your role.
Your work includes planning, documenting, and following up on activities together with your colleagues at the park play areas. You also collaborate with other operations within and outside the unit to create good conditions for children and young people in our neighborhoods. The role also involves strengthening the administration’s work on gender equality and inclusion, as well as creating meeting places for all visitors, from families with children to seniors.
As a leisure leader, you will be part of a team at Rågdalens park play area. You are also part of the entire park play group in the Enskede-Årsta-Vantör district administration, which meets regularly for joint planning, experience sharing, and development work.

- Has experience working with children and young people, preferably in a park play area or similar open activity.
- Has experience with parent contact.
- Is creative in areas such as music, dance, outdoor activities, and various sports – preferably others than football.
- Has very good computer skills and the ability to collaborate.
It is an advantage if you have an interest or skills that can contribute to the cultural content of the park play area, such as music, creativity, theater, or similar.
We are looking for someone who is responsible, secure, and has good self-awareness. You understand that your engagement and knowledge set the standard for the quality of the activities. We encourage playfulness in your engagement and a willingness to come up with competitions and challenges. You are resourceful, proactive, social, and positive, with a genuine interest in building relationships with children and their parents.
