About this role
**Description of the School**
Lindåsskolan is a comprehensive school for grades F-9 with just over 700 students, featuring three classes in each grade and four after-school departments.
Our work teams are characterized by great commitment, high competence, and joy in the workplace. The school is beautifully located near both forest and sea, situated at the southernmost point of the municipal school administration, bordering Kungsbacka.
**Job Responsibilities**
We are currently seeking an after-school leader for Lindåsskolan! This position is a temporary employment until the end of the school year, June 2026.
During school hours, you will provide support and resources in a third-grade class and work in one of our after-school departments in the afternoons. Throughout the school day, you will assist both the student group and individual students. You will support students' learning and development during lessons, breaks, transitions between classes, and in social interactions. In your role, you are responsible for creating a clear learning environment where students feel motivated to learn and are engaged in their education based on their individual circumstances. It is essential to recognize students' diverse needs, consider their individual conditions, and help them grow and develop. You will be part of the work team surrounding the class, collaborating closely with teachers to ensure all students feel good and receive the support they need. You will have the backing of the school's comprehensive student health team, which includes a special educator.
During after-school hours, you will be part of a team responsible for providing children with a meaningful and developmental leisure time where care and activities interact. You will base your work on the curriculum and the children's interests, enabling them to develop new skills and build secure peer relationships. At our after-school programs, we enjoy being together and having fun. You will contribute and take responsibility alongside your colleagues in the work team.
**Qualifications**
We are looking for someone with experience working with children and preferably pedagogical experience to meet students' needs for appropriate adaptations. Education and knowledge in neuropsychiatric disorders (NPF), low-arousal approaches, and cooperative learning are advantageous. You need to possess good social skills and be clear, attentive, and structured. We want you to be an engaged individual who can recognize students' diverse needs, provide praise and guidance. You are there for the students, nurture relationships, and help them develop, feel good, and believe in themselves.
You have experience and a strong commitment to after-school activities. You have a positive view of people and understand that every child has strengths, which you also emphasize in your interactions with students and their guardians. In our after-school programs, play is fundamental to learning and serves as a springboard into new knowledge. Relationships and social interactions are other building blocks of our work. As a person, you are communicative, curious, attentive, proactive, and creative in your engagement with students and in planning activities. You consciously work to create a safe group where good relationships are the foundation. You see diversity as enriching and leverage it in your work with students.
You are confident in your professional role, creative, and enjoy collaborating and working purposefully with others.
At Lindåsskolan, we think together, and we believe that is the best approach!
Welcome with your application!
