JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a youth recreation leader in the youth club, you will plan, implement, and develop open recreational activities for middle-aged children. This involves creating activities based on their needs and wishes in areas such as physical activity, creativity, culture, technology, games, social community, and recreation. You will collaborate with schools, guardians, associations, and other activities to build a comprehensive approach to children's leisure time. You are responsible for ensuring that children are treated with respect, given opportunities for influence, and that the activities maintain high quality. Together with other staff, you will help shape an operation from the ground up, focusing on the children's best interests. Parts of the position will be conducted in collaboration with schools. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with education or experience that enables you to meet children's needs in an open and pedagogically oriented recreational activity. This could be a degree as a youth recreation leader, leisure home teacher, or other relevant college or vocational education. Experience working with middle-aged children, preferably in municipal or non-profit organizations, is advantageous. You have a good understanding of children's different conditions and can create an environment where they feel safe, seen, and involved. As a person, you are responsible, initiative-taking, and attentive. You have the ability to create good relationships with children and guardians, and you enjoy working in a team. You are accustomed to working independently and systematically, with an approach characterized by respect, clarity, and commitment.
