At Kärnekullaskolan, we are looking for another inspiring and dedicated after-school teacher who wants to help build and shape our school and after-school activities! Our school, which opened in the autumn of 2023, is growing, and now there is an opportunity to join our team. Are you an engaged after-school teacher who is passionate about creating a meaningful and developmental after-school program? Then you might be the one we are looking for!
Our after-school care consists of two departments, Sunnanäng (grades F-1) and Junibacken (grades 2-6), where we work closely together to create a fun and educational environment for our students. Our modern facilities are bright and spacious, designed for after-school activities and needs. We have a studio, kitchen, and several play areas for each department. Additionally, we have a newly built sports hall, Habo Arena, and a school forest nearby – simply an inspiring place for both children and educators.
With us, preparation time between different tasks is a given. As an after-school teacher, your planning time is allocated during school hours, both individually, departmentally, and collectively for both departments. You will be part of a team of ten after-school teachers distributed across two departments. In total, we have about 40 employees at Kärnekullaskolan.

RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for planning and implementing teaching based on the curriculum for after-school care in collaboration with the work team. You will lead and develop the educational work and create the best possible conditions for each student.
You want to make a difference for our students by believing in their abilities and encouraging creativity and curiosity. You will show and make it clear to each student that they can succeed, both in big and small ways throughout the day. During school hours, you will be present as a collaborative after-school teacher.
Additionally, the role involves continuing to contribute to making Kärnekulla a place where every student wants to be, feels comfortable, and develops to reach their full potential. We assist each other with opening and closing, which means that working hours vary throughout the week.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a licensed after-school teacher who has a positive outlook and believes in the goodness of people. Understanding the value of relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues is likely your greatest strength. Furthermore, you are a skilled and engaged after-school teacher who prioritizes the after-school program.
