About this role

Fornbackaskolan is a two-track elementary school (grades F-6) with approximately 340 students and 80 staff members. We are a primary school and an adapted primary school, which also includes a department for students with mobility impairments. The school also has its own special education group and a municipal special education group. Fornbackaskolan is a multicultural school located in a residential area where most of our students live. Your Responsibilities As an elementary school teacher for after-school activities, you will organize a learning, developing, and meaningful after-school program for students. The work involves planning and developing pedagogical activities, both individually and together with your colleagues in the team. This also includes creating an after-school program that is accessible to all students by using various resources and materials. During school hours, you will teach students in certain PREST subjects, primarily music. There is also time for planning, class collaboration, and break-time activities. Who Are You? Requirements: - Certified elementary school teacher for after-school activities, with a music specialization - Experience working in an adapted primary school or in a special education group - Excellent Swedish language skills, both spoken and written Merits: - Knowledge of AAC and sign language support - Proficiency with digital tools, used creatively in teaching and for personal planning, follow-up, and documentation We place great importance on your personal qualities.
