Welcome to join us in meeting the future at Gagnef Municipality! Youth Centers are seeking more part-time staff for both 'Drömkåken' in Djurås and 'Gårn' in Mockfjärd. The position is on-call, sometimes with short notice but also with planned shifts. You should enjoy a flexible approach as you may be booked at short notice to replace regular staff. You will work through the Staff Center and need to continuously update your availability in the SwedeTime booking system. You will then receive bookings via SMS. Work Tasks An evening at the youth center can include anything from calm and important conversations, billiards and table tennis, various tournaments, crafting and creative activities, to challenges within the latest digital trends. Youth might record dance videos, play board games, or just hang out, sometimes with their own requests that we try to accommodate. During the shift, it's crucial to treat each youth with respect and attention. We work with a low-affective approach, which helps us create a safe and inclusive environment. No two evenings are the same, and for safety, we always wear personal alarms during our shifts, although hostile situations are very rare. Qualifications - Education in children/youth, youth leader, leadership, or similar work experience - Valid and clean criminal record extract - High patience, a childlike spirit, and a good dose of common sense. You are flexible and attentive - Understanding of being a safe adult for youth, with equal value for all being self-evident - Lead with warmth and care but able to set boundaries when needed. Experience with low-affective approach is a plus Conditions Intermittent on-call employment. Commencement by agreement. Interviews and selection occur continuously.
