About the Workplace The Resident Service department of the Municipal Administration is responsible for Ale municipality's cultural and leisure activities and the municipality's contact center. The department consists of approximately 60 people working in areas such as supporting local associations, promoting outdoor activities, leisure bank, cultural offerings for adults and children, library services, cultural school, AV technology, events, municipal telephone exchange, reception, and processing certain services like school transportation, parking permits, and more. Culture and Leisure contribute to a safer Ale by creating conditions for a diverse, accessible, and inclusive cultural, sports, and leisure activities. Equally important is developing dialogue with target groups to ensure quality and breadth of offerings that can meet various interests and needs. Job Responsibilities We are seeking someone who enjoys being in contact with and supporting local associations and who likes to develop and improve work methods. Good collaboration with associations is essential for the operation. Responsibilities for the Leisure Developer include: - Supporting and advising association representatives - System responsibility for municipal booking and association register and grants system - Leading projects and conducting various investigations - Daily processing of matters for the leisure function mailbox - Monitoring external developments in association life/leisure regarding IT systems, administrative tools, etc. - Participating in various collaboration forums for destination development - Some administrative tasks related to contracts, payments, statistics, and invoicing Responsibilities for the Business Developer include: - Leading projects and working groups - Coordinating and driving improvement work - Supporting review, follow-up, and evaluation of activities - Preparing decision-making documentation and statistics for management and politics - Supporting managers with planning and annual reports - Management and leadership support - Collaborating with other departments - Monitoring development and research in the field and suggesting improvement areas Qualifications Academic degree in a relevant field or equivalent. You appreciate and excel at collaboration and relationship-building. You have a sense of order and good insight into administrative processes. We seek someone who is supportive, communicative, and has broad digital competence. You think strategically but are also creative in approaching new challenges. Experience in quality work, development work, project management, and process mapping is meritorious. Knowledge of Ale municipality's organization and association activities is beneficial. Experience with outdoor activities is also valuable. We place great importance on personal suitability. Additional Information The position is organized directly under the department head.
