About this role
Are you interested in working as a preschool teacher in Partille Municipality? Take the opportunity to try it out by being part of starting and running a spring preschool in Lexby or Björndammen during the spring term of 2026.
Your task as a preschool teacher is to collaborate with your team to implement education and instruction based on the children's interests, needs, and the goals of the curriculum, as well as to be responsible for onboarding new children. You create conditions for all children to play, learn, and develop, while also having fun together.
The activities at our preschools in Partille are characterized by engagement, security, and warmth. Play and joyful learning are given significant space in daily routines. Here, the child is always at the center, and we strive for a safe, enjoyable, and educational preschool experience every day.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, you must be a licensed preschool teacher. Experience in onboarding new children and previous involvement in starting up preschools is considered a merit. It is also advantageous to have experience and knowledge regarding children in need of special support. You should have strong skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, as communication with guardians is an important part of the role. You value your own competence while recognizing the strength of working closely with your colleagues.
As a staff member at the preschool, you work proactively in your interactions with the children, possessing the ability to read situations to contribute to a calm and developmental environment. You are confident in your professional role and capable of building trusting relationships with children and guardians.
Personal suitability will be given great importance.

Your new workplace
During the spring term of 2026, the municipality will open spring preschools in both the Björndammen and Lexby areas to meet the needs of our youngest residents for preschool placements. One spring preschool will be linked to Björndammen Preschool, and the other to Nygården Preschool. Both workplaces have good connections to Partille center and Gothenburg.
The Education Administration is responsible for the municipality’s childcare and educational activities from preschool and after-school care to preschool class, elementary school, adapted school, secondary school, adult education, and various commissioned educational programs. Our vision is for every student to leave school rich in knowledge and confident in their ability to create their future in collaboration with others. All students should also remember their school time as secure, enjoyable, and educational. The various activities within the Education Administration have a clear common focus on the conditions for all children and students to complete their studies.
