About the Position We are currently seeking a preschool teacher for the preschools in Tidaholms municipality. The position is located at Rosenberg Preschool. This is a permanent full-time position with a start date of January 1, 2026, or as agreed. Here, the child is always at the center, and we strive for a safe, fun, and educational preschool experience every day. We achieve this by prioritizing forums for collegial learning, developing and stimulating learning environments both indoors and outdoors. All preschools in the municipality operate based on Helen Jenvén’s theories, actively engaging children's influence and participation in the content of our activities. We also offer support functions such as special educators, speech therapists, and our cross-professional team "Samkraft". A day at preschool is filled with various interactions between children and educators. Each interaction is significant and contributes to the child's security, development, and learning. In your role, you will therefore be part of harnessing these interactions to make the preschool a safe, educational, and joyful environment for everyone. Together with your colleagues, you will have a special responsibility to develop education in line with the Curriculum. Learning processes are made visible through educational documentation, for which you will have particular responsibility. You will work actively and systematically to create stimulating and developmental learning environments. This is facilitated through collective reflections among colleagues, where we share and nurture each other's ideas, contributing to the growth of each individual's professional development. The municipality offers you as a preschool teacher, among other things, six hours of planning time per week, free nutritious lunches prepared on-site, work clothing, as well as wellness benefits and opportunities for professional development. Newly graduated preschool teachers will also be offered a mentor to facilitate your transition into your professional role. Qualifications We seek applicants who are preschool teachers with a valid teaching license and have prior experience working in preschool settings. Since communication and documentation are important aspects of the job, you need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. You are well acquainted with the preschool’s governing documents and enjoy taking on challenges. You are proactive, driven, and independent. Furthermore, you understand the importance of establishing good relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. Therefore, we expect you, as a preschool teacher, to have a positive approach towards children, guardians, and coworkers, characterized by a belief in equal value and that everyone can and wants to succeed. You are positive, spread joy, and show a willingness to work. You always work with the child’s best interests in focus. Knowledge and participation are key principles in our teaching, and we offer children “New Discoveries - Every Day!” This means that you, as a preschool teacher, are a co-researching adult who is attentive to the children’s interests and needs. You demonstrate a good ability to understand and implement the preschool's mission in practice. You have the capability to collaborate with others to complete tasks and achieve goals.
