JOB DESCRIPTION
In August 2024, we opened our newly built preschool, Lammhults Preschool! The preschool premises also include an open preschool. The preschool is state-of-the-art and purpose-built for the education of preschoolers and the working environment for the educators.
The open preschool is a playful and inspiring meeting place for children and their guardians, where play, learning, and community can thrive. There is room for everything from playing games and having fun to enjoying a coffee together and discussing life's big and small questions.
We are now seeking you who want to help develop the important role of the open preschool in the community!
As a staff member at the open preschool, you will:
- Serve as a resource for families with children and contribute to reducing social isolation by promoting contact, networking, and community.
- Create a social, cultural, and linguistic meeting place where children and adults feel welcome and can find connection.
- Be a secure link to the preschool and help increase transparency around the preschool's mission.
- Provide children who do not participate in regular preschool activities with opportunities for enjoyable and meaningful experiences within the framework of the preschool curriculum through play, aesthetic learning processes, and exploration with other children.
At Lammhults Open Preschool, every child should experience feelings of community, trust, and respect. We view children as incredibly competent individuals with strong inherent abilities to grow, learn, know, and understand their world. The early years are critical for a child's well-being, development, and learning, and we want to play an important role here.
We are now looking for an additional preschool teacher for the open preschool in Lammhult. You, as an applicant, should have a strong commitment and a genuine desire to explore and grow together with children, guardians, and colleagues. In the role of preschool teacher with us at the open preschool, you have fantastic opportunities to truly make a difference for each child to learn, develop, and succeed.
Employment rate is 25%.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is a licensed preschool teacher. You are also engaged, receptive, and possess a genuine ability to create trustful relationships with both children and adults.
You are competent and eager to develop in your role as a preschool teacher, contributing to further strengthening our preschool's brand.
You have a playful spirit, imagination, and empathy, and you strive to place play at the center of activities.
You possess a strong drive, set high goals for yourself, and are a clear leader.
