Polkagrisen Preschool is centrally located in charming Gränna, with nature and Lake Vättern just around the corner. We actively work with children's play both inside and outside, placing great importance on creating a safe, stimulating, and educational environment for every child.
The preschool consists of four departments:
- Rainbow (1-3 years)
- Star (1-3 years)
- Moon (3-5 years)
- Sun (3-5 years)
We are currently seeking engaged and licensed preschool teachers for the Sun department (3-5 years) and Star department (1-3 years). You will become part of a competent and warm team where collaboration, pedagogical development, and children's best interests are in focus.
Polkagrisen Preschool is part of the Gränna Preschool Area, together with preschools in Ölmstad, Luftballongen, Visingsö, and Örserum.
Your Competence
We are looking for a preschool teacher with a valid teaching license who has genuine commitment to children's learning and development. You are well-grounded in preschool's mission and governing documents, proficient in Swedish language both verbally and in writing, and have basic IT skills. Preschool work experience is meritorious. As a person, you are relationship-building and create secure, trusting relationships with children, colleagues, and guardians. You are structured and plan your work efficiently, while possessing good pedagogical insight and understanding of children's development and needs.

Good to Know

Before hiring new preschool teacher employees, we must ensure a valid teaching license. We therefore ask you to attach a current teaching license obtained from the School Authority within the last two months.
