JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The opportunity is now available to become part of our team at Ängslyckans Preschool! We are seeking an engaged preschool teacher who wants to contribute to long-term development work where we collectively shape a creative, learning, and inspiring education. Here, children's thoughts, ideas, and curiosity will bloom through a project-oriented approach built on exploration and collaborative learning.
Ängslyckan is a newly built preschool with a nature-close location next to forest and land. With ten departments and small child groups, we create close relationships and opportunities to adapt teaching to each child's needs. Our teams collaborate across department boundaries to create a secure, curious, and learning community.
We also have close cooperation with Dädesjö Preschool, and together we form an administrative area with a shared operational plan and common development areas. During the 2025/2026 academic year, the focus will be particularly on strengthening children's language and communication and their participation and influence.
In our project-oriented approach, we always start from the children's thoughts, ideas, and questions. By listening and exploring together, we create teaching that is meaningful, fun, safe, and educational. With us, both children and guardians should feel involved and warmly welcome.
Example job tasks:
- Apply curriculum, laws, policies, and routines with good understanding of the assignment
- Lead, plan, organize, and develop teaching in accordance with preschool goals
- Create teaching based on children's interests, questions, and ideas in a project-oriented approach
- Document, follow up, analyze, and develop education at both individual and group levels
- Use methods and approaches based on scientific grounds and proven experience
- Ensure each child's needs are met through a democratic and inclusive approach
- Contribute to an environment that promotes care, play, learning, and development
- Prepare and conduct development conversations focusing on child learning and well-being
- Actively contribute to collegial learning and developing operational quality over time
QUALIFICATIONS
We seek a confident and stable preschool teacher with great commitment to their assignment. You take responsibility for your work and have a good understanding of how children and adults learn and develop based on their different conditions.
With a strong belief in the competent child, you let children's thoughts and ideas be the starting point in teaching. As a person, you are attentive, collaborative, and communicate respectfully and clearly with colleagues, children, and guardians.
Building secure relationships and creating trusting learning environments is something you highly value. You have a solution-focused and flexible approach where children's best interests are always central. Experience and knowledge in aesthetic expression methods, pedagogical documentation, and developing learning environments are considered an asset.
You must master the Swedish language well in both speech and writing, enabling communication with children, guardians, and colleagues, and documentation according to operational requirements. Since work includes digital documentation, good computer skills are also required.
