Would you like to help create a safe, creative, and inclusive preschool in the heart of Rosengård? At Pilevallens Preschool, you will work in a green oasis where children's curiosity, joy of movement, and language are at the center every day!
About the Workplace
Pilevallen is a preschool located in the heart of Rosengård, featuring a green and pleasant outdoor environment that inspires play, learning, and movement. The preschool is close to several green areas and playgrounds, providing children with rich opportunities for exploration and nature experiences in their daily lives.
With us, you will help create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment where every child is seen, heard, and validated. Through movement, songs, stories, rhymes, and chants in multiple languages, we build a safe and creative daily routine for the children.
We actively work with TAKK (Sign Language as Support), visual aids, and the ELSA model to enhance children's communication and participation. Our approach is characterized by a language development focus, and we collaborate closely with our special educator to meet each child's needs and create the best possible conditions for learning.
Our management group has developed long-term strategies based on proven experience and research, such as Reading Boost, Diversity in Preschool - focusing on multilingualism, care and education, as well as targeted play groups.
For several years, we have been working with development groups linked to our shared development goals. These groups are open to all staff within the principal area and promote collegial learning and professional development.
Our current development focus is on sustainable development and health and well-being. We strive to integrate these perspectives into daily activities—both indoors and outdoors—to create an environment where children can grow and thrive.
We offer language-stimulating activities that are tailored to the children's age, needs, and interests, aiming to strengthen their language development and communication skills.
