Preschool Redet is looking for an engaged Preschool Teacher
Preschool Redet is a small and cozy preschool located in central Sundbyberg. Redet operates as a parent cooperative. The preschool has 36 children distributed across two departments. The team consists of two preschool teachers and four childcare workers.
At Redet, there are great opportunities for you to do what you think is important and enjoyable. One advantage of a parent cooperative is that everyone - the board, members, and staff - works together for the best interest of the children. We have quick decision-making processes and the association is non-profit. This means that all resources are funneled back into the operations, allowing each child to receive what they need and the staff to have a workplace where they can focus on their mission - having fun and feeling good.
All children at Redet should come with joy! We are currently undergoing a transformation process where you, as a teacher, are important and needed!
With us, you will be part of a working team alongside two childcare workers and another teacher in an older children's department with 21 children.
Who are you?
For a temporary position, we are looking for a preschool teacher who enjoys pedagogical development and has fun working with children. We believe that your view of children is important and that you consistently keep the children at the center, working from a child perspective with the understanding that children are competent.
We are seeking a licensed preschool teacher with experience in the profession. You should find change work enjoyable and want to be a driving force in the development. You should have analytical skills and experience that help you choose methods to move the work forward. You should feel secure in your teaching role, be willing to question the old, and be brave enough to try new approaches.
You must master the Swedish language in both spoken and written form and be familiar with the preschool's governing documents. We place great importance on personal suitability.
If you are newly graduated, we expect that you have undergone an experience-based education and have extensive experience working as a childcare worker.
At Redet, there are great opportunities for you as a teacher to work closely with a teaching colleague and the principal, helping to build a program that is entirely focused on the best interests of the children—one that you, as a teacher, believe in and take pride in!
We offer a generous wellness allowance, provide vacation during the terms, and also care for the staff's well-being in other ways.
